Help MassWildlife stock fish in Chicopee, Westfield

CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP) – Each year, local kids out on April school vacation take part in helping MassWildlife restock our local rivers and ponds with trout. MassWildlife is looking for volunteers to once again join them this year in Chicopee, Westfield and Pittsfield.

MassWildlife began restocking ponds earlier month with eastern brook, brown and rainbow trout. From April 16 to April 19, they will be stocking several lakes with help from children. The kids will learn about trout and places to fish. The trout stockings will be held at the following locations:
