Teen's assault charge upgraded to manslaughter after man dies from injuries
ST PAUL, Minn. — Two months after the death of a St. Paul man, police announced a 17-year-old has now been charged with his killing. According to the St. Paul Police Department, the Ramsey County Medical Examiner ruled 76-year-old Thomas Dunne's February death a homicide, prompting county prosecutors to charge the teen with first-degree manslaughter.

Drone pilot spots 1983 BMW submerged in Twin Cities pond
BURNSVILLE, Minn. — A drone pilot made a mysterious discovery last week while flying over a Twin Cities pond.The Dakota County Sheriff's Office says the pilot spotted a vehicle submerged in water at Burnsville's Neil Park.The county's dive team removed the 1983 BMW 320i, which was believed to have been underwater for 20-plus years. Unintentional county-wide shelter-in-place order due to ‘human error’
At 6:45 p.m. April 22, officers from the Robbinsdale Police Department responded to an armed domestic situation. “As is standard procedure, a shelter-in-place notification was sent out by the Hennepin County Communications Division,” the police department wrote in a note to the press. “This was to be sent to the impacted residences on the block. However, it was sent, unintentionally, to the entire Hennepin County.” The Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office later released a statement explaining the message to all of Hennepin County was “human error” and they found “the step in the alert process that resulted in the mistake.”
