National Guard Memphis shooting video released; Senatobia PD arson suspect found

Elections dominated the headlines this past week, with voters casting ballots for federal and state legislatures, but Election Day did not stop the wheels of the criminal justice system from turning. In Memphis, a day before the election, the Shelby County District Attorney's Office released footage showing the pursuit before Tyrin Johnson was shot by National Guard soldiers. And, as voters hit the polls, law enforcement arrested an activist and charged him with setting fire to the Senatobia, Mississippi police department's building . Here's what else was on the docket for the week of Nov. 2, 2026.
