Jerry Saunders attempts to evade arrest, hides behind building
28-year-old Jerry Saunders was seen evading arrest at Nolan Road on November 29th. Officers received a report that there was a domestic altercation occurring at Saunders’s home. When they made contact with Saunders, they noticed that he smelled of marijuana and that there wasn’t anyone else in the area. But when officers attempted to search Saunders, he tried to run away and hide behind the building. After a short chase, officers were able to detain Saunders. Officers followed Saunders’s escape route and found a Model 200 .38 Caliber Revolver behind the building. During the arrest, Saunders was found with a holster on his right pocket matching the dimensions of the revolver. Saunders was taken into custody and charged with unlawful carrying or possession of a weapon and evading arrest.
Katherine Root caught driving with expired tags, suspended license, and no insurance
33-year-old Katherine Root was stopped at Wilma Rudolph Boulevard and Summitcrest Drive for a traffic stop on November 28th. When Officers ran her plate, they discovered a sticker that displayed an expiration date of October 23rd 2023 on the tag, and when they ran the registration, the tag was said to have expired on April 23rd 2023. When officers ran Root’s information through the system, they discovered that her TN license was suspended for prior driving incidents, with this being her 3rd offense. Root was taken into custody and charged with driving on a suspended license, no registration, and no insurance.
Rafael Padilla-Albina caught driving with expired tags, suspended license, and Marijuana
28-year-old Rafael Ernesto Padilla-Albina was driving on Alfred Thun Road with expired tags on November 28th. Officers observed this, conducted a traffic stop, and asked Padilla-Albina for his driving credentials, but he only handed them his Kentucky ID, which came back as suspended for failing to answer a court summons in November 2021. A search of his vehicle yielded a small marijuana blunt, a Taurus 22mm handgun, a scale, a Ziplock bag containing smaller baggies, and three small jars containing marijuana. Padilla-Albina was taken into custody for simple possession, unlawful drug paraphernalia, not having a driver’s license, not having proof of insurance, and driving an unregistered vehicle.
Shayna Stone caught with over 15 grams of Marijuana in her vehicle
21-year-old Shayna Stone was confronted by law enforcement on October 24th when officers noticed a highly potent smell of weed from her vehicle. When officers questioned Stone, she told them that she did have marijuana, which prompted the officer to search the car. This led officers to find over 15 grams of marijuana in the vehicle, and Stone admitted to it being hers. Stone already had an active warrant out of Florida, showing that she would not appear in court. Stone was taken into custody and charged with simple possession. Stone has a history of Marijuana related charges, including an incident in July 2023.

30-year-old Samuel King Lampkins III wanders into stranger’s backyard, says he’s looking for “someone” on Alexander Boulevard on November 28th. A resident on Alexander Boulevard called the authorities regarding Lampkins being in their backyard. Officers arrived and located Lampkins in front of another residence, and he advised them that he had been drinking and consuming some marijuana. Lampkins was unaware of his whereabouts and was deemed a danger to himself. He was taken into custody for public intoxication.
Letita Hamer punches, slaps ex-husband during dispute over divorce
48-year-old Letita Hamer was at her house with her ex-husband, Patrick Hamer, on October 24th when she went into the room where he was sleeping to discuss why he was sleeping in a different room. Patrick tried to leave their home to avoid the conversation, but Letita blocked him in the room with her body. In the scuffle to escape the room, Letita grabbed his keys and hid them from him. Patrick thought that she had put them under the bed, so he went back into the bedroom to grab his belongings, and she began to kick and push him to prevent him from getting his items. This led to a continuation of the argument, which prompted her husband to attempt to grab his things again, but this time successfully. Only to be put in a headlock and punched and slapped in the face, which led to visible markings on his face. Letita was taken into custody and charged with domestic violence.
Treyvon Johnson resists arrest, punches police officer in face
28-year-old Treyvon Johnson was jailed on November 28th after police pulled him over on College Street for having illegal tint. Police confirmed the 4% tint with the tint meter. Johnson was in the driver’s seat, appearing agitated and making furtive movements. Police asked him to exit the vehicle multiple times, and when he did, they smelled the odor of marijuana coming from the car.
DUI: Ricky Rock Jr. hits brakes multiple times for no reason
33-year-old Whataburger employee Ricky Rock Jr. was seen driving under the influence on Trenton Road on November 23rd. Law enforcement observed Rock Jr. failing to stay in his lane and hitting his brakes multiple times despite there being no vehicles in front of him. Before the officer could pull him over, Rock Jr. pulled into a parking lot, so the officer followed him. When he exited his White Buick SUV, he voluntarily approached the patrol car. Rock Jr. consented to perform field sobriety tests but performed poorly. Rock Jr. was placed in custody for suspicion of DUI. A probable cause search of Rock Jr.’s Buick produced two open beer containers in plain sight. Rock Jr. was taken into custody and charged with driving under the influence.

Convicted Felon Oshae Stewart attempts to hit-and-run, caught with stolen gun
23-year-old Oshae Stewart was jailed on November 28th after police pulled him over for a hit-and-run on Airport Road. Stewart admitted to being involved in the accident, and his tags matched the tags of the vehicle at fault. When officers asked Stewart to step out of the car, he began reaching into his pocket, admitting to having a gun in his jacket and being a felon. After running his name through NCIC, it was discovered that the gun was reported stolen out of Murfreesboro. Stewart was then placed into custody and transported to booking.
Desiree Youngblood punches ex-girlfriend in face
21-year-old Desiree Youngblood went to the house of her ex-girlfriend, Jodie Thomas, looking to cause problems. Youngblood waited for Thomas to get home from work, and when she pulled into her driveway, Youngblood approached the vehicle and started to peel the window tint off until Thomas got out. When Thomas exited the vehicle, Youngblood proceeded to punch Thomas in the face but left shortly before officers arrived. Youngblood was taken into custody and charged with domestic assault and vandalism.
One Person Dies in Rural Clarksville House Fire
One person has died after a house fire in rural Clarksville on Tuesday. The fire broke out in the 30,000 block of 150th Street in Butler County. Firefighters stayed on the scene for about six hours from the time of the call. The house is considered a total loss as a result of the fire. The identity of the victim has not been released, and an autopsy is expected to be performed by the State Medical Examiner’s office. The cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
Brenda Calderon assaults family members during dispute
37-year-old Brenda Calderon, an employee of the federal government, was involved in a domestic altercation with her daughter, Crystal Calderon, and her husband, Edgardo Calderon, at Cottage Lane on November 26th. Crystal and Edgardo were at Brenda’s house for a custody swap for their son and Crystal’s passport. While going through this process, an argument ensued over Edgardo and Brenda’s ongoing issues. Brenda, amidst the dispute, slapped Edgardo’s phone out of his hand and pushed Crystal. This sparked a fight between her and Crystal, which was all caught on video. Law enforcement observed minor cuts on Crystal’s lips and a scratch on the back of Edgardo’s neck. When questioned by law enforcement, Brenda admitted to everything mentioned but added that Edgardo got in the middle of the fight and held her to the ground. Brenda was taken into custody and charged with domestic assault.
Stephanie Whitaker slaps husband multiple times during argument
28-year-old Stephanie Whitaker was involved in a domestic altercation with her husband, Christopher Whitaker, at Donna Drive on November 28th. Christopher’s ex-wife, Aaliyah Whitaker, went to his house to pick up her children. After she and Christopher got the children into the car, she witnessed Stephanie slap a drink out of Christopher’s hand and proceed to hit and push him into the doorway. When officers contacted Christopher, he was reluctant to give any details but did admit that Stephanie slapped him multiple times. Stephanie told law enforcement that the two were arguing with each other and “pushed each other.” The two of them refused to write a statement about what had happened. Stephanie was taken into custody and charged with domestic assault.
Tranesha Drish assaults boyfriend with toy truck during dispute
21-year-old Tranesha Drish was involved in a domestic altercation with her boyfriend on Madison Street on November 26th. The dispute between the two started with an argument that Drish elevated when she threw a toy tuck at Richard’s face, causing visible scratches. Drish then pushed him and went around the apartment, breaking other items. When law enforcement questioned Drish, she told them that she did throw the toy truck but said it didn’t hit her boyfriend. She also added that she did push him, but only after he slapped her. Drish was still deemed the primary aggressor of the altercation. Drish was taken into custody and charged with domestic assault.
UPDATE: 17-year-old runaway juvenile found safe and sound
CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – The Clarksville Police Department is asking for help finding a runaway juvenile, 17-year-old Jeremiah Mussell. He was last seen on Dec. 1 around 3 p.m. after he left school. Jeremiah is 5-foot-6, weighs approximately 130 pounds, and has blonde hair and brown eyes. At the time of his disappearance, he was reported to have been wearing black skinny jeans and a black Champion hoodie.
