DOTHAN, Ala. (WTVY) - A 25-year-old Dothan woman faces child abuse charges after authorities say she refused to feed her child or seek necessary medical care. According to charging documents, Kendell Alexis Jones failed to provide nourishment and medical treatment for her son. Investigators allege Jones also refused to take the child for surgery needed to maintain his feeding tube.

DOTHAN, Ala. — An appeals court has upheld the capital murder conviction of a Dothan man serving life without parole for killing his former girlfriend in Webb. Alabama Attorney General Steve Marshall announced Friday, Nov. 6, that the Alabama Court of Criminal Appeals affirmed the conviction of Benjamin Adam Nowell, 39. The court issued its decision Oct. 30.

Dothan, Ala. (WDNews) — Southeast Health Medical Center performed its 500th successful transcatheter aortic valve replacement Thursday, Nov. 5, according to the hospital.
