Woman Indicted for Homicide in Horrific Fatal Crash
SAN ANGELO— The woman who was driving one of the vehicles in the fatal crash north of Grape Creek in July of 2023 has been indicted for her part in the death of her daughter. Morgan Palmour, 27, was indicted for Criminally Negligent Homicide for improperly securing her daughter, Mazlynn Leech, in her child safety seat and driving significantly slower than the speed limit. GRAPE CREEK, TX - The Grape Creek Volunteer Fire Department is now offering a financial reward for information leading to the arrest of a man who broke into the VFD building. Cyclist struck by truck at Marx and East 19th
Witnesses reported seeing a grey truck, possibly a Ford, collide with a person on a bicycle. The impact left the cyclist in apparent pain, and an ambulance quickly arrived on the scene, departing with its lights and sirens activated, indicating the severity of the injuries.

One more round of showers and thunderstorms is expected Thursday evening between 6pm and midnight, then drier weather and hot temperatures returns for the weekend. Some parts of the central, northern and eastern Concho Valley received several inches of rain from storms this morning and afternoon. Other areas missed out entirely. The forecast going into Friday calls for mostly sunny skies with a high near 90 degrees. Temperatures soar this weekend with 100 to 102 degrees from Saturday through Wednesday. The next chance for thunderstorms looks to be in the middle of next week.
