Fundraiser Set to Help Central Graduate Battle Aplastic Anemia
SAN ANGELO, TX - A 2022 Central High School graduate has been diagnosed with Aplastic Anemia, with “progressions towards myelodysplastic syndrome" and local businesses are helping defray the cost of treatment with a fundraiser. According to information, this is one of a group of cancers in which immature blood cells in the bone marrow do not mature. As a result, the blood cells do not develop into healthy blood cells. All At Risk Dogs Saved
SAN ANGELO, TX - Concho Valley PAWS said that all of the dogs at risk of euthanasia today were fostered or adopted. It was also said that to avoid dogs being placed on a euthanasia list in the future, “we need more adopters.” "We need more people out here to foster a dog, volunteer, we need help," a Concho Valley PAWS employee said. "Please consider opening up your arms, your home, and your family to a shelter dog in need." The shelter must be under 180 dogs at all times, information states. San Angelo Streets To Close For Maintenance
SAN ANGELO, TX - The 2024 HA5 street maintenance project will begin Thursday, May 9, and last through Thursday, May 16. According to information from the City of San Angelo, affected streets will close at 7 a.m. prior to work being done and remain closed for 24 hours following the HA5 application. Information stated that flyers have been given to homes in the area notifying them of the upcoming work. The contractor for this project is Andale Construction. SAN ANGELO, TX - Five dogs are facing euthanasia today, May 7 at 7 p.m. if they are not adopted. “We need the support of our community to help save these lives,” Concho Valley PAWS stated. “Please consider opening your home through adoption or fostering.
