WARREN, Ohio (WKBN) – A Warren woman appeared in court on Tuesday and pleaded not guilty to a felony trespassing charge.

According to court records, Brittany Shook, 30, pleaded not guilty to a fourth-degree felony in Trumbull County Common Pleas Court.

Police said they arrested Shook and another man on March 31 during what police said was a burglary in progress. Police said they found Shook sitting on the floor.

According to a police report, Shook stated that they were supposed to be cleaning the house out and a friend said they could stay there. She also stated she and the man had been there for about a week.

Police said the home appeared ransacked and there was no indication any cleaning had been done.

Shook was arraigned on Tuesday and her bond was set at $2,500, according to court records.
