SPARTA, NJ—The Newton High School baseball team played away against Sussex Tech on Thursday, May 16 and shut them out 12-0. Mason Bucci threw a no-hitter for Newton, going 84 pitches with four strikeouts in five innings. The Braves got on the board in the first inning with two runs. Their bats exploded in the second inning with nine runs. Newton Lacrosse Team Beats Hanover Park
NEWTON, NJ—The Newton High School Lacrosse team won 8-3 when they hosted Hanover Park on Wednesday, May 15 under the night lights on Palmer Field. Brenden Lynch led the Braves in scoring, putting three into the net.
