An unidentified driver was killed in a crash on Route 15 in Jefferson early Sunday morning, according to township police. Officers responded to the single-vehicle crash on the southbound side around 1:25 a.m. near mile marker 3.5, said Jefferson police Capt. Robert Bush in a brief statement. PA State Police arrest vehicle theft suspect
At around 6:20 a.m. on May 20, PA State Police were conducting speed enforcement along I-84 in the area of Dingman Township when they saw a red Pontiac Vibe allegedly “traveling erratically and at a high rate of speed.” The police checked the registration, which identified the vehicle as stolen, according to the police report, prompting the officer to attempt to conduct a traffic stop at Exit 46. The driver, later identified as Shelby Darlin Casper, 32, of Pittsburg, allegedly “failed to acknowledge” the officer’s traffic stop attempts and continued to enter Milford Borough.
