Upon arrival, Kunz made contact with Kendra Bracey, 42, who said she got into an argument with her daughter while she had her gun, charging documents say.

Bracey allegedly told the officer that she said she would “pistol whip” her daughter.

Kunz spoke to the daughter, who said that Bracey had threatened to assault her with the gun in her hand. She feared for her life and started to record the incident, the documents say. In the recording, the officer saw Bracey holding a black handgun by her side.

Littering leads to drugs being found

On May 7 around 8:50 a.m., officers were patrolling near the 7-Eleven on St. Ignatius Drive in Waldorf when they saw an occupant of a parked silver Chevrolet Impala allegedly toss trash on the ground.

Officers pulled their cruiser behind the vehicle and the occupant, later identified as Taylor Marie Harrigan, 31, of Waldorf, exited the vehicle, collected the trash and began to walk toward the officer, charging documents say.

The driver of the vehicle, who was not charged in the incident, exited the driver’s side of the vehicle and proceeded to go toward the conviencene store.

Harrigan was observed to have constricted pupils, droopy eyelids, watery eyes and a runny nose, the charging documents say. Officers asked Harrigan if she was using any drugs, to which she said she was using Suboxone, an opioid to treat drug dependence of narcotic analgesics.

A glass smoking pipe was allegedly in plain view in the front passenger seat, where Harrigan was sitting, prompting a search. Officers found multiple paper folds of heroin that totaled to 3.2 grams, 13 grams of heroin across multiple bags and a 2.6 gram rock of crack cocaine, charging documents say.

Officers arrested Harrigan, who faces charges of possession with intent to distribute, possession of paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance that is not cannabis.

Traffic stop leads to PCP discovery

On May 9, officers responded to the area of Mattawoman-Beantown Road and Poplar Hill Road as another officer had reported a vehicle speeding, making unsafe lane changes and following too closely to others.

The vehicle struck a curb on Mattawoman-Beantown Road and began driving southbound on St. Charles Parkway toward St. Thomas Drive. The vehicle stopped, and officers told the driver of the vehicle, Timothy Jerome Holder, 43, of Waldorf to step out, charging documents say.

While stepping out of the vehicle, a clear bottle with brown liquid allegedly fell out of Holder’s front right pocket. Officers picked up the bottle and detected a strong odor of Phencyclidine, commonly known as PCP, the documents say.

A K9 handler arrived on the scene, and Hylton was asked to leave the vehicle. The K9 provided a positive indication in the car for narcotics, prompting a search. Two baggies of suspected powdered heroin were recovered from the vehicle.
