WACO, Texas ( FOX 44 ) — It only took four runs and dominant pitching for the Baylor softball team to break out the brooms, completing the series sweep against UCF with back-to-back wins on Sunday.

Presleigh Pilon provided one of Baylor’s four hits in the game with a runner in scoring position, just scooting a RBI-single past the infield to drive in Caroline Rowatt for the go-ahead score in the fifth inning.

On the defensive side, the stellar pitching in the circle continued for the Bears from RyLee Crandall and Aliyah Binford. Binford closed out the series only allowing five hits to go along with nine strikeouts and no earned runs to help the Bears to a win in game three.

The Bears return to action next in Salt Lake City to face Utah on Wednesday, April 24th at 6:00 p.m.
