Portions of New Jersey are under a red flag warning Tuesday, meaning the risk of wildfires is high due to high temperatures, low humidity and high winds. The warning is in effect until 8 p.m. and the National Weather Service is advising officials to keep an eye out for wildfires and to curtail any controlled burns. Six minors between the ages of 12 and 14 were arrested Sunday after they allegedly stole a car in Fairfield and later crashed it following a police pursuit, authorities said.
