Victoria man sentenced for heroin dealing

VICTORIA, Texas - Today, a Victoria man was sentenced to 35 years for heroin dealing in Victoria. Juan Jose Sanchez, 46, was found guilty by a Victoria County jury of the offense of Manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance.

On July 6, 2023, Victoria police stopped Sanchez' car for an expired registration tag. He had two passengers inside his car. A probable cause search was determined, and authorities found marijuana, a small amount of meth, and 18 pre-packaged hits of heroin. His phone was also searched, where authorities found evidence of drug dealing.
