MONTCLAIR, NJ - The Montclair Township Council had a special meeting on May 13 – a Monday, so as to avoid a conflict with the municipal elections the following day, May 14 – to introduce the 2024 budget. Walmart laying off hundreds of employees, relocating many remote workers
BENTONVILLE, Ark. - Walmart on Tuesday announced hundreds of layoffs at the retail giant’s campus offices, as well as relocations for many remote employees. In a Walmart staff memo, the company said it will require most remote workers and personnel in its Dallas, Atlanta and Toronto offices to relocate to its primary offices in Bentonville, Arkansas; Hoboken, New Jersey; and the San Francisco Bay Area.
