It’s a change of hands in Downtown Easton and a revamp at the Downtown Allentown Market for a popular sandwich shop. Ciao! Sandwich Shoppe, 12 N. 3rd St., on April 1 was officially sold in Easton. The name in September 2023 quietly changed to Chez’s Delicatessen at the Downtown Allentown Market, on the city’s ArtsWalk at 27 N. 7th St. A third location, at 325 Cattell St. on Easton’s College Hill, in October 2023 closed its doors due to lack of staffing, co-owner Isaac Csezmadia told lehighvalleylive.com Thursday.
