According to a release, Broadway Avenue from Erwin Street to Ferguson Street, including the left turn lane for the East Ferguson Street and Broadway Avenue intersection, will close starting at 10 a.m. on Friday.

KETK’s Ashlyn Anderson was at the festival on Friday and spoke with John Borgstedt, pitmaster of BBQ & A Prayer.

“This just it’s a milestone. It really is, it’s something that everybody wants to get to, so to be able to be invited to something like this, this is truly an honor,” said Borgstedt.

The city also said that portions of North College Avenue, Ferguson Street, West Erwin Street and Broadway Avenue near the Downtown Tyler Square will close starting at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
