Ginny Boggess has her first commitments as the University of Toledo women's basketball coach.
Faith Fedd-Robinson and Evalyse Cole, each of whom signed with Monmouth last fall, have pledged their allegiance to the Rockets.
Fedd-Robinson, a 5-foot-11 wing from New Jersey, had more than 1,400 points, 1,000 rebounds, and 400 blocks at Newark Central. She was a three-time all-conference selection and led the state in blocked shots.
"You're going to love watching this New Jersey native compete," Boggess said when Fedd-Robinson signed with Monmouth. "Faith is a do-it-all three-level scorer who brings a lot of energy to both sides of the ball. An elite finisher at the rim with patent vision and playmaking skills, she will incite a lot of 'wow' moments from the crowd. Her size and physicality allow her to defend multiple positions and rebound at an elite level to initiate our break."
Cole, a 6-foot-2 forward from Easton, Pa., was a 1,000-point scorer and conference MVP. She averaged more than 16 points per game last season. As a junior, she had 13.7 points and 9.1 rebounds.
Cole led Easton to an 81-10 record during her four years, including undefeated regular seasons as a sophomore and junior.
"Evalyse is a perfect fit for our culture and my ideal forward prototype," Boggess said when Cole signed with Monmouth. "I've known since the first time I saw her play I wanted her to be a Hawk. At 6-2, she brings size and athleticism to a pivotal position in our system. Her sharp instincts in transition, ability to knock down the deep 3, and vision to thread the needle in a motion-read offense are just a few of the things we love about Cole's game. Defensively, she has a knack for altering shots at the rim and a diligence to clean up the glass."
Since the end of the 2023-24 season, Soleil Barnes, Bella Swedlund, Macey Feegan, and Ella Doherty have entered the transfer portal.
