Poundtown Burger Bar Expands Across Central New York
Poundtown Burger Bar, a popular local burger chain in Syracuse is expanding its presence in Central New York. The chain, known for its smashburgers, plans to open two new locations in Cicero and Auburn. The Cicero restaurant will be located in the Aldi Plaza on Route 31 and is set to open in mid-to-late April. The Auburn location will open in the former Citizen newspaper building on May 15.

Cicero, N.Y. — Poundtown Burger Bar hasn’t been open downtown very long, but its smashburgers are spreading to two additional locations across Central New York. Owner Randall Hon said today he signed a lease on Monday for a new Poundtown location in the Aldi Plaza at 5962 Route 31 in Cicero. Work is already underway, and Hon said his goal is to open by mid- to late April.
