North Country teen charged in Carthage disturbance, Troopers say
CARTHAGE- A North Country youth is charged in the wake of a reported disturbance last month in Jefferson County, authorities say. A 15-year-old teen, from Carthage, NY, whose name or gender was not specified, was arrested Wednesday morning by the New York State Police (Carthage). The teen is officially charged with one misdemeanor count of criminal mischief (w/intent to damage property).

Vandalism shuts down Thompson Park pool

La Fargeville Man Arrested following a Traffic Pursuit and Crash in Jefferson County
On May 26, 203, at 1:45 p.m., State Police in Watertown responded to a larceny/burglary complaint at Walmart on State Route 11 in the town of Le Ray. When Troopers arrived, they located the suspect vehicle, a 2007 Toyota Yaris, and attempted to stop it. The driver, later identified as Anthony Gallo refused to comply and a traffic pursuit was initiated. The pursuit was terminated when the suspect vehicle reached speeds of over 100 mph. Shortly after, the suspect vehicle was located off the road on State Route 342, after it crashed through two signs and into a concrete barrier. The driver was transported to Samaritan Medical Center by Evans Mills Ambulance for shoulder pain.
