Traffic advisory: Watertown’s Leray & Washington streets
WATERTOWN, New York (WWNY) - Road work could tie up traffic on two Watertown streets on Tuesday. Leray Street will be closed from West Hoard Street to Highland Avenue. One lane in the 200 block of Washington Street in Watertown will be closed Tuesday. The southbound lane (heading out of the city) will be closed. The northbound lane will remain open.

Engineers at Virginia Tech used a protein called cytokines to attack cancer cells. They designed the protein to stay within tumors, so it doesn’t attack healthy cells.
