SPOONER - The Washburn County Highway Department will be working on a culvert on Burma Road in Long Lake Township between County Highway D and Laundromat Road on Wednesday, May 22. Burma Road will be closed from 6:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. There will be no detour. Plan accordingly.

Sheriff asking for help finding man who robbed gas station in Manistee County
MANISTEE COUNTY, Mich. (WPBN/WGTU) -- The Manistee County Sheriff's Office is asking for help locating a man who robbed a gas station in Brethren. The man walked into the EZ Mart on Keister Road around 3 p.m. Tuesday and demanded money in the cash register from the clerk, according to the sheriff.
