Cases of CWD-positive deer not detected in any new counties
RALEIGH — The N.C. Wildlife Resources Commission (NCWRC) is confirming 13 new cases of Chronic Wasting Disease (CWD) from deer samples submitted since July 1, 2023. Grant-funded program at Jonesville PD encourages exercise
Thanks in part to a 2023 Wellness Grant from the North Carolina League of Municipalities received by the Jonesville Police Department, workout equipment was purchased and set up for employees encouraging daily work out sessions. Captain Scotty Vestal composed a new wellness program titled the Captain’s Fitness Challenge. Library open house showcases renovations, art
Renovations at the Elkin Public Library, which includes two new private study/meeting rooms, were officially unveiled at an open house held on April 9.
