Bystander arrested following fight in Paso Robles
A 13-year-old bystander was arrested on Wednesday afternoon following a altercation between two teenagers in Paso Robles. Shortly after 4 p.m., a teenager was walking on San Carlos Drive when another teen pulled up in a car, and the two entered into a physical altercation. Officers arrived and attempted to calm the situation.

High school to honor three with facility dedications

Dedication event to be held at the high school Thursday. – The Paso Robles Joint Unified School District (PRJUSD) will hold a ceremony for the renaming of Paso Robles High School (PRHS) facilities dedicated to three influential community members on April 25. The campus will be dedicated to former principal Greig Welch, the track to former coach Ivan Huff, and the boy’s physical education facility to former teacher and coach Tim Alvord. The event will be held at the Paso Robles High School Performing Arts Center from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. and is open for all to attend.
Volunteers restore half-mile stretch of Charolais Trail

Tamale Festival returns May 4 to Atascadero
The festival will feature a variety of traditional, gourmet, and sweet tamales from local restaurants as well as establishments across California. Alongside the culinary offerings, margaritas and various adult beverages will be available. The event will also include merchandise vendors, live music, photo opportunities, and contests including “best” tamale, tamale eating, and pet costume contests.
Pedestrian hit, injured in San Luis Obispo Costco parking lot
A car crashed into and injured a pedestrian in the Costco parking lot in San Luis Obispo on Monday afternoon. Shortly before 4 p.m., a car hit a person walking in the parking lot. Emergency medical personnel transported the victim to a local hospital. Their condition is not being released at this time.
