Pedestrian hit, injured in San Luis Obispo Costco parking lot
A car crashed into and injured a pedestrian in the Costco parking lot in San Luis Obispo on Monday afternoon. Shortly before 4 p.m., a car hit a person walking in the parking lot. Emergency medical personnel transported the victim to a local hospital. There condition is not being released at this time.

Tamale Festival returns May 4 to Atascadero
The festival will feature a variety of traditional, gourmet, and sweet tamales from local restaurants as well as establishments across California. Alongside the culinary offerings, margaritas and various adult beverages will be available. WM to host free waste drop-off event for Atascadero customers
ATASCADERO — WM will allow customers in the City of Atascadero to dispose of large, bulky items, green waste and hazardous material at the Chicago Grade Landfill for free between April 20-27. “WM takes seriously its commitment to environmentally-friendly waste disposal,” said Sandra Pursley, Area Director for WM. “We encourage all Atascadero customers to take advantage of this opportunity to get rid of household waste for free.”
