A 77-year-old Fond du Lac man is in critical condition Friday night after being ejected from a vehicle during a crash in the town of Taycheedah, according to the Fond du Lac County Sheriff's Office.

The man was eastbound on County Q near Stenz Road shortly before 4:30 p.m. Friday when a westbound vehicle, driven by a 34-year-old Fond du Lac woman, made a left-hand turn into a residential driveway in front of the oncoming vehicle, the Sheriff's Office reconstruction team determined.

UW Med Flight was called to the scene due to the serious nature of the man's injuries.

    The woman was not injured.

Authorities say neither speed nor alcohol were contributing factors in the crash.

The identities of the drivers were not immediately released.

Fond du Lac County deputies along with the Wisconsin State Patrol, Calumet Fire Department and First Responders, Mount Calvary Ambulance and the City of Fond du Lac Ambulance responded to the scene.
