Hillsborough County’s Veterans Memorial Park, 3602 U.S. 301 N., Tampa, FL 33619, is open from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. with free admission and parking. In observance of Memorial Day, Hillsborough County Consumer & Veterans Services and the Veterans Council of Hillsborough County invite the community to the County’s 27th Annual Memorial Day Observance at 10 a.m. Sunday, May 26, at Veterans Memorial Park.
Residents who aren’t able to visit the park in person can “walk the park” virtually with aerial videos of the memorials , which range from the Seminole Wars through the war in Afghanistan. Displays at the park inspire reflection on the sacrifices of men and women who served the United States in times of conflict, and of their families and friends at home.
