    Man hit by car in Syracuse while standing outside of his own

    SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — Just before 7:30 p.m. on Monday, April 29, Syracuse Police were sent to a an accident with injuries on I-690.

    Police found from their preliminary investigation, that a vehicle traveling westbound on I-690 hit a car that was stationary on the highway.

    A man was standing outside of the stationary car, which was his, when he was hit.

    He was taken to Upstate Hospital and examined for potential head trauma. He is listed in stable condition.

    According to Syracuse Police, three juveniles were inside the car that hit the victim. The three were also taken to Upstate Hospital for observation. None of them suffered from injuries.

    The investigation into the crash is active and ongoing.
