Comedian Matt Rife adds tour dates, including 2024 shows in Central New York
Matt Rife is booking more tour dates after selling out a dozen performances in Central New York. The viral TikTok comedian announced more than 100 shows for his “ProbleMATTic World Tour,” including Upstate New York performances Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2024, at Proctors Theatre in Schenectady and Saturday, March 30, 2024, at the Landmark Theatre in Syracuse. Rife will also perform four shows Thursday & Friday, March 28-29, 2024, at 7 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. at the del Lago Resort & Casino in Waterloo.

Rapper Toosii’s homecoming concert in Syracuse canceled for 4th time
For the fourth time in less than two years, a Toosii concert has been canceled in his hometown. “Favorite Song” rapper Toosii was scheduled to perform at The Oncenter Crouse Hinds Theater in Syracuse next Saturday, June 10, but Ticketmaster says the event is now canceled. Special guests Sexxy Red and Sugarhill DDot were set to open the show, dubbed “Toosii Appreciation Day.”
Photographer’s long career, Syracuse connections on display at Everson Museum
“Doug Muir: Coming Home,” on display at the Everson Museum, travels down two paths that definitely converge. First, it explores the long career of a photographer whose work includes images of public spaces, portraits and landscapes, and still-life photos. Muir (1940-2016) showed his photos at the San Diego Museum of Art, the Atlanta Contemporary Art Center, and the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, among other venues.
