Workshop Series Assists Women Entrepreneurs, And Musical Hilarity From Heatbox
When Superior Business Improvement District Executive Director Kelly Peterson scheduled a workshop for women entrepreneurs, she thought 10 might show up. Instead, 30-plus attendees crowded the business assistance center space at Superior’s historic old post office. The ongoing sessions address barriers particularly affecting women who start businesses, as well as success stories to learn from — including that of Superior Waffles co-owner Natalie Harris. The pair join “Simply Superior” host Robin Washington to discuss how women entrepreneurs can succeed at 10 a.m. Friday, May 3.
