SULLIVAN, Mo. – Severe storms rolled through Sullivan, Missouri, again Wednesday morning, just one day after a tornado led to scattered damage around the community.

Residents tell FOX 2 that Wednesday’s storms have led to flash flooding around several neighborhoods and streets. Viewer James T. Hardy sent several photos of flooding impacts to FOX 2.

The storms toppled trees, littered streets with debris and caused flash-flooding. Multiple waves of heavy rain overwhelmed Sullivan’s storm drains, flooding-out streets and covering roads in town.

The FOX 2 Weather Team has also learned of at least one confirmed tornado near Meramec State Park, just outside Sullivan city limits.

East of Sullivan, hail scattered debris across Highway K and damaged the siding on one home off Chapel Hill Road.

All of this comes one day after an EF1 tornado ripped through Sullivan, damaging a local bar and a high school , which is the same area that experienced the flash-flooding Wednesday.

Despite all of the severe weather over the past two days, there have been no reported injuries in the Sullivan area.
