    Man charged after allegedly setting fire along Star City trail

    STAR CITY, W.Va. (WBOY) — A man has been charged after allegedly vandalizing a bike rack in Star City .

    According to a criminal complaint, on March 29, Ralph David Miller, 56, of Morgantown, “set fire to a bike rack located in front of the rail trail bathrooms in Star City, WV.” The value of the bike rack was reported to be $687.

    Miller’s arrest comes more than a week after it was reported that a pair of bathrooms along the Caperton Trail was vandalized. In a social media post made by the town of Star City on April 4, it said the vandals kicked the doors and set a fire.

    Miller has been charged with third-degree arson and is being held in North Central Regional Jail on a $1,000 bond.
