Contract details released for Oregon running backs coach Ra’Shaad Samples
EUGENE — Ra’Shaad Samples will earn more than Carlos Locklyn did at Oregon and as much as his predecessor is going to earn at Ohio State. Samples, who was hired at UO last week, signed a two-year contract through January 2026 for a prorated $500,000 through January 2025 and $650,000 next year, according to documents received by The Oregonian/OregonLive in response to public records requests. He’s also earning a $45,000 signing bonus in lieu of relocation expenses.
