EUGENE, Ore. – After a shooting on Saturday, the Lane County Sheriff’s Office is looking for the suspect, and is asking the public to keep an eye out. According to the LCSO, deputies responded to a shooting at a home on McDougal Lane near Prairie Road in Eugene. According to the LCSO, neighbors reported the incident at 2:18 p.m. on June 3. Deputies said their investigation showed Jason Scott Page, 34, had allegedly shot a 35-year-old man in the back during an argument. EUGENE, Ore. -- The Oregon Allergy Associates recorded a record high grass pollen count of 1301 in the Eugene area. With a pollen count this high, even people who are not allergic to pollen have also been suffering from allergy symptoms. Dr. Kraig Jacobson with Oregon Allergy Associates said the pollen levels are so high because there's a lot of rye grass both grown and sold in western Oregon. EUGENE, Ore. –The arrival of warmer weather has also led to an increase in local burglaries, according to Eugene police officials. Police said that criminals often take advantage of residents leaving doors, windows, or garages open or unlocked as the temperature rises. Local skateboarder working to memorialize two young skaters
EUGENE, Ore. – A local skateboarder is still hard at work raising funds to memorialize two young boys who lost their lives to mental illness. In September 2022, Mike Crespino skateboarded from the Washington Jefferson skate park in Eugene to San Francisco, California.
