Small Dip, More Clouds, Slight Cooling
Good Morning. This weekend's weather is going to be primarily driven by a small dip in the upper level being pushed into the PNW by the jet stream. This dip allows for some colder air to be dragged into our area and for a bit more moisture to make its way in. For our area, that will result in slightly cooler temps today and tomorrow. Saturday starts off clear, but as the cold front arrives this afternoon, expect for cloud cover to increase. To our North, some scattered and non impactful rain will be falling, but currently model interpretations show a completely dry weekend for anyone who can watch this station. Next week has a few chances of light rainfall, but for the most part, temps return to average after Sunday.

Inactive Day, Natural Air Conditioning
Happy Friday. The cold front from yesterday is completely gone, so our weather today is inactive with straight line West to East winds. These winds will function as a form of natural air conditioning as they pick up cool and moist air from over the ocean and blow it onshore. Satellite imagery early this morning doesn't show any prominent Coastal low cloud coverage, so the day will start out sunny. Models are showing some cloud cover developing through the morning though, so a chance of low clouds and fog still remains. Other than the aforementioned clouds forming and dissolving, nothing notable is set for the day ahead. Temps will very from the high 60's to the low 70's inland with just about 60 degrees for the Coastal high. The weekend is set to be similar with a bit more cloud activity from an additional passing cold front.
