    Juvenile seriously injured in shooting on Kenyon St. in Springfield

    SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – Police are investigating a shooting in Springfield that has left one juvenile seriously injured.

    According to Springfield Police Spokesperson Ryan Walsh, officers were sent to the 0-100 block of Kenyon Street around 3:45 p.m. Saturday for a ShotsSpotter Activation.

    When they arrived, officers found two gunshot victims. Both victims were taken to Baystate Medical Center. Walsh said one adult man sustained injuries while the other victim, a juvenile, was seriously injured in the shooting.

    The Springfield Police Department’s Detective Bureau is investigating the shooting. 22News will provide more information when it’s made available.
