Celebrate '509 day' in Downtown Spokane with special deals and discounts

SPOKANE, Wash. - Businesses throughout downtown Spokane will feature special deals and discounts for "509 day'; a celebration inspired by Spokane's area code.

On May 9, restaurants and retailers will be offering 509-themed promotions to encourage the community to support local businesses.

Some specials include a $5.09 discount off any meal at Gilded Unicorn, $5.09 draft beer and house wines at Twigs Bistro & Martini Bar and $5.09 smoothies all day at Method Juice Cafe.

Plus, the first five people to say "509" at the concierge desk in River Park Square will get a $50.90 gift card.
