Missouri Department of Transportation to make repairs to highway near sinkhole
SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) - One lane of a busy highway is shut down in Springfield because of a damaged pipe. Traffic on U.S. 60 near Highway 65 could be slowed down for weeks. Missouri Department of Transportation says a damaged pipe in the median close to a sinkhole was repaired last year. Repairs will cause them to dig up the roadway in that area again.

It's graduation time in Springfield Public School but before a high school senior earns a diploma, they must meet a list of requirements. For starters, students must earn a total of 25 credits, typically within a four-year period starting with ninth grade. The benchmark in SPS is slightly higher than the state's minimum requirement of 24 credits.
