    Springfield area high school baseball Class 1-4 district championship results

    Springfield area district championships for Classes 1-4 were completed on Wednesday night and they featured a handful of upsets including to a few of the area's state-ranked teams.

    Norwood 3, Dora 0 — Class 1, District 4

    Norwood won its third district championship in the last four years.

    Sectional: Leopold @ Norwood on Monday at 4:30 p.m.

    Exeter 4, Billings 3 — Class 1, District 5

    Exeter won its first district championship in program history during its first full season of baseball.

    Sectional: Lockwood vs. Exeter

    Lockwood 10, Dadeville 8 — Class 1, District 6

    The Tigers won their first district championship since 2021.

    Sectional: Lockwood vs. Exeter

    Bakersfield 8, Mansfield 5 — Class 2, District 10

    Bakersfield, a three-seed entering the district, upset state-ranked Mansfield.

    Sectional: Bakersfield vs. Iberia

    Galena 7, New Covenant 3 — Class 2, District 11

    Galena upset state-ranked New Covenant thanks to a five-run third inning.

    Sectional: Galena vs. Marionville

    Marionville 9, Purdy 3 — Class 2, District 12

    The Comets won their fourth straight district championship. Will Crumpley went 3 for 4 with two runs.

    Weaubleau 9, Lincoln 6 — Class 2, District 13

    Weaubleau won the district as a four-seed that knocked off top-seeded Marion C. Early in a semifinal before beating Lincoln, which defeated reigning state champion Ash Grove in the semifinals.

    Sectional: Weaubleau vs. Archie

    Forsyth 7, Fair Grove 1 — Class 3, District 11

    Tristan Hunter threw 6 1/3 innings while striking out 17, allowing two hits and one earned run to lead the Panthers to a district title.

    Sectional: Forsyth vs. Lamar

    Logan-Rogersville 4, Mountain Grove 2 — Class 4, District 10

    Ross Lawrence threw a complete game three-hitter while striking out 13 and allowing no earned runs.

    Sectional: Logan-Rogersville vs. Blair Oaks

    Aurora 14, Mount Vernon 11 — Class 4, District 11

    Aurora won its second district title in three years.

    Sectional: Aurora vs. TBD
