Three Springfield residents found prowling around Camden County lake homes
Two men and a woman from Springfield face multiple charges after they’re caught prowling around lake homes in Camden County. The Camden County Sheriff’s Office says on Tuesday evening, a caller reported seeing a several suspicious subjects on the security camera, set up at their lake home near the Porta Cima area of State Road MM. They saw one man carrying a gas can near their front door, as well as suspicious subjects walking around the home, onto their dock, and into a dock house. The caller provided a description of the subjects’ vehicle.

A Springfield mechanic who pleaded guilty to aiding Affordable Towing in a series of highly publicized federal emissions crimes has been sentenced to probation. Full Flash Tuning owner Robert Dyche, 67, was sentenced in federal court Monday to two years probation and a $500 fine by District Judge Stephen R. Bough, according to court records.
Ozark, Missouri man sentenced to 16 years in prison for methamphetamine conspiracy
An Ozark, Mo., man was sentenced in federal court for his role in a conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine. Jevn Todd Griffitt, 26, was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Roseann Ketchmark to 16 years and eight months in federal prison without parole. The court also ordered Griffitt to forfeit to the government $15,324, which represents the proceeds he obtained from the drug-trafficking conspiracy.
