1926 was a transitional year between events for the United States, laid right in the middle of the 1898-1934 Banana Wars, and only three years before The Great Depression. Mountlake Terrace wasn’t technically affected by it, not because they were immune to the events of the time, but because it did not exist as the city that currently stands.
