Music Village's Block Party features eight bands, kids activities, food at Howard Park

SOUTH BEND — The Music Village presents its 2024 Block Party from 1 to 8 p.m. May 11 at Howard Park , 219 S. St. Louis Blvd.

Across two outdoor stages and inside Howard Park’s Community Building, the musical acts, all local, include Lalo Cura , Little Frank, Micki Miller , The Happy Campers , HeyZeus, SHAM , Starheart and the TMV Jammers, with additional performances from among The Music Village’s music instructors.

The event also includes family-friendly activities, including a face-painting booth and Kids’ Tent where children can build instruments.

A vendor area will offer locally sourced arts, crafts, food and drink.

Community partners will be on hand to provide information and demonstrations of their services, and South Bend Brew Werks will host a beer tent.

Tickets will be available at the event or can be reserved by visiting events.humanitix.com/the-music-village-block-party-2024 .
