Fairfield Union 8, Unioto 3: The Falcons pulled off a shocker during their Southeast District Division II sectional tournament game by knocking off the No. 1 seed Shermans. Fairfield Union took a 3-0 lead through the first three innings, and after Unioto cut the deficit to 3-2 in the bottom of the fourth inning, the Falcons responded and were able to plate three runs in the sixth and added a pair of insurance runs in the top of the seventh inning.
