Snowmass Free Summer Concert Series Line-Up Announced

The Roaring Fork Valley's favorite music series—or at least one of them—has announced its summer line-up.

The Snowmass Free Concert Series returns this summer to Fanny Hill (that ski run just off the Mall) every Thursday evening with acts like the Young Dubliners, the Huntertones, Southern Avenue, Spazmatics, and many others.

The music series runs from June 13 to Aug. 22.

“The Snowmass Free Concert Series is back—bigger and better than ever,” said Julia Theisen, Tourism Director, Snowmass Tourism. “The high caliber of the artists this summer is unlike any we have yet seen. We can't wait to hear these world class performers and watch them take the stage in Snowmass.”

Fanny Hill is the best place to unwind after a day of mountain biking at the Snowmass Bike Park or whizzing through the trees on the Lost Forest zipline.

There are a few rules and suggestions:

Guests are encouraged to bring a picnic, order to-go from Snowmass restaurants, and support local Snowmass businesses before or after the concert.

Alcoholic beverages can be purchased from the Snowmass-branded container bars, located inside the venue.

Outside food and sealed non-alcoholic beverages are allowed. No glass bottles, open containers, or personal alcohol of any kind are permitted. No dogs are allowed.

Still, this series is fun. Everyone's there.

"Attendance is expected to be high this summer and parking is limited," noted today's announcement. "Please utilize the free parking at Snowmass Town Park, carpool, or take RFTA or Snowmass Village Transit. Remember to never drink and drive."
