2 people injured when bus crashes into building in Washington County
Two people are injured after a Freedom Transit Bus crashed into a building on 11th Street and Garr Street in Charleroi Thursday morning. SEE PICTURES FROM THE CRASH HERE There were 10 people on the bus when the crash happened. The two injured passengers were taken to the hospital, but their injuries are not life-threatening. “They were crying, they were upset. They were all sitting along that wall there,” neighbor Lisa Shulnes said. “They had the paramedics checking them all out. They all seem like they were in pretty good shape, nothing serious.”

Gymnasts Olivia Kovach, Ava Hickman look forward to defending WPIAL titles
They say good things come in small packages. Mt. Pleasant’s Olivia Kovach and Hempfield’s Ava Hickman are emblematic of that long-standing and well-known adage.
