Two incidents occurred in Monroeville, Pennsylvania this week. In the first incident, the parents of a 5-year-old boy who accidentally shot and killed his 3-year-old sister were sentenced to probation and house arrest. The father received six years of probation with the first year on electronic home monitoring, while the mother received four years of probation. Both were also ordered to undergo a mental health evaluation. In the second incident, a judge ruled that video footage of a Pitcairn man attacking and killing an Uber driver could be used in court. The accused is scheduled for trial in January.
