    Sioux City Farmers Market season kicks off May 4

    SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KCAU) — The Sioux City Farmers Market will be ringing its triangle dinner bell as it starts for the season.

    On May 4, the Farmer’s Market will be open from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., and in partnership with the Tyson Events Center, the Market will again be located at the corner of Pearl Street and Tri View Avenue on the Tyson Center parking lot.

    2024 Sioux City Metro Bike to Work Day to take place

    As part of the festivities, the Sioux City Chamber of Commerce will be joining the market for an official ribbon-cutting ceremony at 9 a.m., to celebrate their opening day and the edition of their new Market manager, Melissa Gritzmaker.

    Visitors can expect locally grown produce, including fresh greens, radishes, kohlrabi, kale, swiss chard, turnips, and baby bok choy. Vendors will offer an assortment of seasonal produce, handmade goods, and delicious foods.

    Attendees can also look forward to live music, family-friendly activities, and opportunities to connect with local artisans and food vendors.

    Orpheum Theatre unveils ‘Broadway At The Orpheum’ lineup

    The Sioux City Farmers Market will take place every Saturday and Wednesday from May 4th through October 26th.
