Multiple people injured in reported Sidney stabbing

SHELBY COUNTY, Ohio ( WDTN ) — A stabbing occurred in a park in Sidney just after midnight on Thursday, with multiple victims reported.

Sidney police and multiple other agencies were called out around 12:30 a.m. to Brown Park, located near South Ohio Avenue. Our partners at Sidney Daily News saw Shelby County Sheriff’s Office and Ohio State Highway Patrol also responding to the scene.

One victim was treated at the scene and transported to the hospital. Sidney Daily News reports two other people transported themselves to the hospital before officials arrived on scene.

Police are currently searching for two suspects. Investigation is ongoing.
