    Two indicted in death of Shreveport infant shot through apartment wall in latest grand jury filings

    A Caddo Parish Grand Jury returned several indictments on May 15. This true bill included indictments in six murders committed this year.

    Which cases are involved in the latest indictments?

    Jadavion Decorey Cooper and Dequavion Dangelo Pouncy

    Cooper, 21, and Pouncy, 19, were separately indicted for second-degree murder in connection with the February 15, 2024, death of Jtorryon Williams.

    Williams, 20, was shot numerous times in the parking lot of an apartment in the 4300 block of Lakeshore Drive.

    Deanthony Rayshon Griffin, Laterrion Treshon Watts and Demond Sirlloyd Baber

    Griffin, 28, and Watts, 23 and Baber, 22, were separately indicted for second-degree murder in connection with the February 11, 2024, killing of infant Karter Martin and the attempted second-degree murder of Isaiah Cooks.

    Martin, 1, was struck in the head by a bullet fired into an apartment in the 200 block of East Stoner Avenue in the early morning hours.

    Fatonious Ballard

    Ballard, 31, was indicted for second-degree murder in connection with the February 18, 2024, killing of Dwight Green.

    Green, 29, was shot and killed as he barbecued with friends in the parking lot of a business in the 5100 block of Broadway Avenue.
