GRATIOT COUNTY, Mich. (WJRT) - A 33-year-old man died at the scene of a rollover crash in Gratiot County early Wednesday. The Gratiot County Sheriff's Office says Matthew Hoffer was driving a pickup truck north on Barry Road in Elba Township around 6:10 a.m., when he failed to negotiate a curve leading to Grenlund Road and went off the roadway.

Alma College quarterback starts nonprofit to fight against cancer
ALMA, Mich. (WNEM) – It’s the offseason for college quarterbacks right now, but for one Alma quarterback, the work never stops both on and off the field. During the middle of Alma College’s 2023 football season, quarterback Carter St. John played in the Alma Cares Game, honoring those who fought cancer. After the game, he decided he wanted to help give back to the community as well.
